A transformative commercial goat-rearing project is empowering widows to achieve economic independence while enhancing agricultural sustainability. By selling organic goat manure or using it to enrich soil fertility on their farms, participants are reaping dual benefits—financial growth and improved crop yields.

Since its launch in December 2023, with funding from the GMW Team in Germany, the project has profoundly impacted 20 widows and their families. The lives of approximately 120 children, grandchildren, and other dependents have been uplifted through the stability and opportunities this initiative has brought.

With determination and hard work, these widows are not only securing their livelihoods but also fostering a stronger, more resilient community.
