Trelleborg Offshore & Construction AB are also making a meaningful impact in Kondoa, Tanzania, by supporting 20 widows and orphaned girls from the KIWAJAKO group. In June 2023, the group was commissioned to produce organic cotton Polo shirts for the Trelleborg Europe team, providing them with an invaluable income-generating opportunity.

The project’s benefits extend far beyond the women themselves, directly supporting 122 family members, including children and other dependents. This initiative not only empowers these women financially but also strengthens their families and community through sustainable economic activity.
